Our Mission
To provide comprehensive support to widows and their children by addressing immediate needs through food assistance, home maintenance, and skill training programs that promote long-term self-sufficiency and dignity.
Our Vision
A community where every widow and her children have access to the resources, support, and opportunities they need to thrive, creating a ripple effect of positive change for generations to come.
Our Values
Compassion guides our actions, dignity shapes our approach, sustainability drives our programs, and community collaboration amplifies our impact. We believe in empowerment through education and support.
Our Story
Smile Home Foundation was founded in 2018 when a group of community members recognized the urgent need to support widows struggling to provide for their families after losing their spouses. What started as a small food distribution program has grown into a comprehensive support network.
Our founders witnessed firsthand how the loss of a primary income earner could devastate families, leaving widows unable to maintain their homes, feed their children, or access opportunities for economic independence. This observation sparked our commitment to creating lasting change.
Today, we serve over 500 widows and their families, providing not just immediate relief but building pathways to self-sufficiency through our integrated approach of food assistance, home maintenance, and skills training programs.
